Ingredients

  • 1 pound edible lotus root
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Method

  1. Use only properly identified edible lotus root from a reliable source.
  2. Peel, slice thinly, and rinse.
  3. Stir-fry in oil until crisp-tender and thoroughly cooked.
  4. Add soy, vinegar, and ginger; finish with sesame.
