Ingredients
- 12 ounces expert-identified western matsutake
- 12 ounces pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3/4 cup cream
- 1/3 cup grated hard cheese
- Parsley and pepper
Method
- Cook the pasta in salted water and reserve a cup of cooking water.
- Dry-saute the mushrooms, then add butter and garlic and cook thoroughly.
- Add cream and simmer gently.
- Toss with pasta and cheese, loosening with cooking water. Finish with parsley and pepper.
