Huckleberry Oat Crumble

Ingredients

  • 4 cups positively identified huckleberry
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 4 tablespoons butter

Method

  1. Heat the oven to 375 F.
  2. Toss berries with lemon and place in a baking dish.
  3. Rub oats, flour, sugar, and butter into coarse crumbs and scatter over the fruit.
  4. Bake until bubbling and browned, about 30 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers within two hours.
